KDE is dead.

Hi everyone!I installed KDE desktop a few days ago and it is excellent.However,I tried to set compiz start with KDE by the utility "autostart".After rebooting my computer and typed my account name and code,my computer stucks and the desk didn't show up.What can I do now?

KDE comes with kwin that is the compiz equivalent and is stable with that desktop manager. Maybe remove compiz as suggested by marcblevins and select kwin.

[Solved]

I deleted the compiz option in Autostart,and I typed init 3 before log in.Then I typed init 5 and log in,it works!!

I removed the kde this morning and reinstalled it.It seemed normal.However,it didn't work at night and the symptom is the same.It stuck at the loging in picture.And could someone explain the command "lspci"?

Question How to run application in fullscreen mode?

Hi everyone!My video card is nvide quadro nvs 140m and I've installed driver correctlly.But when I run application in X window,the size of the window is fixed and rather small.How to config the driver so that I can run my application in fullscreen mode?
