The Risks of Closed Source Computing

I just had a read of 'The Risks of Closed Source Computing', it seems to make some pretty valid points and I found it an interesting read.

Thought I'd share and get your opinions on it, essentially it's comparing MS to the days before hardware was standardised (i.e. ISA/PCI and so on).
