Pulse Audio

I have an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 sound card.

This card does not appear to work with pulse audio. In Mandriva I can disable pulse audio easily and then the sound works perfectly.

I would like to use Fedora but I do not know how to disable pulseaudio in Fedora, can someone help please.
