<url open error ('110 Connection Timed out')>

Hi all,
I am working on Fedora 9.
When i tried to install telnet using "yum" i am getting the error as
"<url open error ('110 Connection Timed out')>"

Please help me to solve this issue. As i have gone through many forums and the answers given there seems either not working or not very clear.

Thanks in advance.

are you sure you need to install it?
I think it's part of the base system.
