I have computer setting on a LAN segment that has DHCP service for a router, the computer with Gnew Sense Live CD V 2.1 sees the network and I can browse the Internet, though on boot from Hardrive where I have a recent full install of Fedora 10, I cannot browse the Internet. I work through several threads and procedures and still have not resolved the problem. What I have accomplished is that Fedora is configured and says it connected to the network, though not able to browse. I have tried comparing the ifcfg and route –n readouts from terminal service and see that the adapter card I am using is seen as eth0 during live CD and the same mac address is then seen as Eth1 on Fedora 10 boot from hard drive. Does Fedora have a problem when not working from Eth0 for a DHCP network? FYI I have two nic adapters in the computer and intently am trying to use the card I have set as Eth1 on the Fedora 10 full install.
