Konsole useless with more than 1 tab

I've got the weirdest problem with konsole. It has been working fine all along F10, then suddenly after I rebooted, it won't let me type in anything if I open more than 1 tab. I tried opening new tab with Ctrl-Shift-N and through the menu, same result.

Not sure what causes it, but recently there has been some updates to kde and kernel. Has anyone else see this problem?

Same problem here with Konsole 2.2, KDE 4.2.00 and kernel 2.6.27.19-170.2.35.fc10.x86_64.
