FC1 and FC2

I have FC1 currently installed, using c. 50% of my 40GB HD. I want to install FC2 in the other (empty/unpartitioned) 50% and be able to select between them at boot. I tried this with FC2T3 and wound up having to reinstall everything. So, the question is:

Do I tell anaconda to install grub again and edit it to add FC1 (from hda2)? If so, do I install it to the MBR or on hda6? Or do I not install grub and, instead, edit my FC1 grub.conf to add FC2 from hda6? Or is there some other, more elegant way that I'm completely missing?

I'm SO ....
