Question Need a help with writing C

why don't you start by looking at the source for gcalctool 5.22.3 the fedora default
it is in the source Gnome tree

Yep, no one wants to do the hard work anymore, they want others to do it for them. Go on the sci.math newsgroup sometime and you'll see tons of posts from students wanting (and often demanding) people to provide them with the solutions to homework problems. It's pathetic.
