Installing Audacity with mp3 support

Yes, you need the rpmfusion repo installed as well.

yum install audacity-freeworld

I assume that you are using Gnome.

You will need to start audacity like this:
pasuspender audacity

You could edit your menu (launcher) and change the "Command:" field.

No package audacity-freeworld available.

Yes, I have the rpmfusion-free and non-free repos installed (as well as the test-updates). But audacity-freeworld just ain't there.
I don't believe the non-free repo is available yet.
