I have a problem that I think results from missing something obvious...
While a torrent download is in progress (using ktorrent), I get uploading occurring simultaneously as it should. However, as soon as the download is complete and I start seeding, the uploading ceases. While I suppose there is a non-zero probability that worldwide demand for the torrents ceased as soon as I completed my download, I don't actually think that's the case.
I believe I have everything set up correctly, relevant ports forwarded from my router, holes punched in my firewall for these ports, since downloads can nearly saturate my bandwidth. I don't think it's a firewall issue since shutting it off has no effect. Is there a secret port, i.e., not revealed in the ktorrent prefs, that needs to be forwarded for the uploading to work? Other suggestions?
Trying to be a good bittorrent netizen here...
Thanks.
Daniel
