What are the places you wish to visit?
I would like to visit the following places:
1. Japan, eat real sushi and go to Akihabara.
2. Russia, take my picture taken in front of the buildings in Red Square.
3. Germany. Learn to speak German, and probably buy a Leica.
So where would you want to visit?

Greece, just about all historic locations in Greece.
Italy (again), anywhere/all locations.

OK, fantasy places: Middle-earth.

Japan.
I love anime.
Plus, I could have all of the hibachi steak I could ever want.
I'd also like to see Tokyo, some small villages, Okinawa, some shrines. and go to a High and Mighty Color concert.

There's a bit of humor in JN4's choices. (Psst--he lives in Florida).
Errm, you miss the cold weather or something?
I've been to Japan. It's OK except that Wayne lives there. <ducks the kipper>
Interestingly, the places I visited (Tokyo, Oosaka and Hiroshima) struck me as rather reminiscent of NY, just a bit cleaner. Tokyo is a larger, cleaner, safer Manhattan, Oosaka was like Queens and Hiroshima was like a Westchester suburb.
My wife is far more traveled than I am. Aside from living in the US, which is a foreign country to her, she's been to Austria, Germany, and Florida.
Rumor has it she's been to Japan a few times too.

Wet kippers ahoy!
When I was knee high to a toadstool I wanted to visit Egypt. Perhaps it was my regular visits to the British Museum that spurred this interest. These days if I can make it down to the bar I call that a successful trip
But I would like to visit Vienna sometime (to visit my old pot and pan) and maybe make a return journey to northern Germany (Ihlienworth) afore I shuffle off this mortal coil....
Never had much interest in visiting your neck of the woods but wouldn't mind a trip down south to see the pyramids there too.... There's also Hawaii, where a good friend lives, but I hear there's no half decent beer there

Ah Hawaii. If I were wealthy and could live anywhere I wanted, I think that's where I'd want to be. Idyllic weather.

Fort Niagara December 19th 2013. Its the only time and place I have made plans to be someplace. Other than that there is a new pub opening near me. I might just gove it a try.
I'll offer a toast to cousin Johnathan.

The only place I want to visit is San Antonio, Texas, because I want to see what's in the basement of the Alamo.
