windows7 dual boot

friends i need help?

howto dual boot in windows7 + FC10

i have 500GB X 2 in raid0

first i install windows 7x64 in c:/ ( windows 7 create a 200mb Partition in before c

and install windows7 in c:

then i install fc10 x64 in d:\ (/root) in 20GB

after install reboot , no grub install

so please help me


i try easybcd tool to try install grub but no use?

The grub config file is located in /boot/grub/grub.conf

I am not sure whether this helps but at least it's a reply ....(we call first reply as sofa... haha)

Maybe someone who know will help

after some search it seems window 7 is too new


W7 looks like vista to me, so maybe ou can follow the vista6 guide

Looks for me that you could choose which partition to boot in BIOS?

The most important thing is linux install later, which you did,so i guess you got to explain the situation more clearly so others could help...

i solve the problem

first i create partiation in bootcd's ( iuse hirencd) and install c: on windows7 without 200mb system partiation and install fc10 on d: so default grub install on mbr

sp please friends please use any other thired party partioation tools use to create partiations and install windows 7
