No Video Display

i just get RHEL5 Desktop to install it on HP550 laptop during the installation with graphic mode it's doesn't work for that i install it in the text mode. now when i restart the laptop it's going directly to text mode even if i try startx or xinit it doesn't work. if i'm not wrong RHEL didn't detect the video card.! how this could happend cause i try fedora 9 and 10 in the same laptop and it's work fine...................please help

Um, have you tried the RedHat support forums? This forum is not connected with RedHat.

you can also contact hp-support people and check if they have drivers for your...as per their website they dont offer drivers for anything but windows xp professional and vista32bit...

and as wayne said you should contact redhat through their support forums.

or CALL on the phone ,the tech support, that you bough and paid for . when you bought $$$ rhel5.2

There's a 30-Day Evaluation version here:

https://www.redhat.com/rhel/details/eval/

I don't know if that includes support, but like all other commercial software if you want to keep using it you should pay for it.
