How do i format a drive to ntfs in fedora?

Can format a drive to ntfs in fedora 10?

Do i use fdisk then use format like in dos?

Hello tootal2,

You should at least consider a nice partition manager such as GParted in Fedora 10 (yum install gparted) or even the GParted LiveCD for work like that. It's my favorite partition manager and my preferred way of doing what you are asking about. Otherwise, refer to man mkntfs.

Does the vista partion have to be the first one on the drive?

MS will through a fit if it is not ,but the system can be fooled
