render errors in firefox

Hello.

I'm having trouble viewing web pages in firefox. Text renders like a copy of the web page i'm viewing is superimposed on it a cpl of mm's offset.

I had a bit of trouble getting the right resolution after my initial install, but managed to correct this by installing and configuring a display package (which really ought to be a default install in the distro).
This prob is typical w my gfx-card i865G - I've had similar experiences w other distros.

I'm not sure if this is related to the rendering error in firefox, but I havent had this problem with other distros. This leads me to believe it's Fedora 10-related.

How do I proceed to troubleshoot this?
