fedora 10, monitor loses signal during install

Hi all.

I'm trying to install Fedora 10. I'm booting from a CD, and the installation gets as far as those 3 progress bars in the very beginning. As soon as they all load, my monitor goes black and starts flashing a "DVI INPUT OUT OF RANGE" warning. That's all. Any help is appreciated.

I'm using a
nvidia geforce 8800 gtx
and the Planar PX3611W monitor.

Hello:

Try starting your installation by hitting the tab key, then the space bar .. once
then type and enter

linux skipddc xdriver=vesa

and see if that gets you by your current issue.

that didn't work.

I tried some of the things that worked for other people, including

xdriver=vesa

linux noapic acpi=off skipddc xdriver=vesa

nomodeset

lowres

with no luck.

EDIT:

I hooked up a different monitor and that worked. After it booted, I switched the monitors back and it seemed to be doing fine. I installed fedora to the HDD, so we'll see what happens when I actually manage to boot into the OS again!
