start zarafa deamon in background

Hello guys,

im having problems with the webbased login of zarafa. I did a reboot to my fedora server, and now the zarafa daemons are stopped. When i start one of them (service zarafa-server start) the commandline is empty and i cannot move on with my commands.. i can open another putty window and work on but when i kill the first window with the command service zarafa-server start still in the screen, the zarafa daemon stops.

can someone tell me how to start this daemon for ever?

thanks in advance!

greets bo

Sounds like it's not really starting like a daemon should, and using that session window to run. What do the man pages say on starting/stopping that daemon? Have you checked chkconfig --list to see if it's there?

Thanks for posting your solution. It's always helpful, and it sucks when you are 1 step away from fixing a problem someone else solved but they never came back to say how they fixed it.
