Fedora 10 random hangs

At a loss to debug this. Stops occur while doing anything. Only solution is to turn off - turn on and reboot. Nothing I can find in log files. I've uninstalled Livna nvidia driver on the off chance that was the problem. Is there anything I can do to isolate the problem? Turn on a trace or something?

Running F10 X64 with all fixes to date. Quad core Intel CPU. Nvidia display driver. 6 Gigabytes of memory.

Me too - identical symptoms here.
Running F10 X64 with all fixes to date. Quad core AMD CPU. ATI display driver, 2 gigs of memory. The only similarity I see here is the F10 X64.

Intermittent/random (apparently) problems can be the hardest to diagnose. Try to narrow it down as far as possible:
> desktop environment?
> 3rd-party software??
> PC make/model/specs (incl. esp.: CPU[s], mobo, HDD[s])???

Pc is HP d5000t. Intel Q9300 Quad Core, 2 WD 320 Gig in Raid 0 config for Vista, another 320 Gig WD with Fedora 10 x64, another 640 Gig WD with Ubuntu 8.10. 6 Gig memory. GeForce 9300 display adapter. None of the op sys's share anything with the orhers

Vista x64 runs fine.
Ubuntu 8.10 runs fine.
Fedora 10 x64 hangs randomly!!

Just rebooted after running Fedora for a little more than a day. Left PC to take a shower and came back to find it hung.

HP diagnostics all run fine.

Need some sort of trace ability!

I also experience random hangs although it isn't a complete hang per se. When it happens, I can move the mouse normally and click on things but everything becomes "extremely" slow. That is when I click a window I see it come up after like two minutes. Of course this makes my PC completely unusable so the only remedy is to reboot. This happens at random times. I tried disabling desktop effects. I would say it may have helped a little but it happened once again the other day.

F10 Gnome x64, Intel Q6600 quad processor, NVIDIA 8800GT, 4GB memory.

Sometimes I miss the good old days circa FC6 where I could leave my PC running 30+ days with no reboots and there was no such thing as Pulseaudio so the sound actually worked well.
