Disk Map???

From this information:

sda1 = Windows xp Pro
sda2 & sda3 are Fedora 11 Alpha

sdb1 = windows storage space
sdb2-sdb6 = kiwi linux, ubuntu

My problem, I am trying to mount my Fedora filesystem from kiwi linux, so that I can access the files there too? It keeps telling me wrong fs. I have tried ext3, ext2, jfs, etc.

Can anyone tell me what information is already supplied or from more information if needed, what is the file system type for sda3???

Your F11 file system is buried in an LVM (Logical volume manager).

You may need to load LVM tools and modules to your kiwi Linux.

Try the pvscan and lvscan commands to find the physical and logical volumes.
The devices to mount may be found in /dev/mapper or /proc/partitions

Thanks for the information and help. I do appreciate the info and the commands. The situation has changed and I decided to get rid of the kiwi linux partition...
