how? ssh-keygen dsa -b convert 1024 to 2048

I had a commecial server the is using 2048 key on ssh. i was wondering on how to convert the 1024 to 2048 on my local server.

ssh-keygen -t dsa -b 2048 -f /root/rsync/mirror-rsync-key
DSA keys must be 1024 bits

anybody could help me to to convert 1024 to 2048 bit?

thanks and more power.

jedalaurin, could you be a little more detailed about what you are trying to do?

ssh-keygen -t dsa -b 2048 -f /root/rsync/mirror-rsync-key
DSA keys must be 1024 bits
As you can see, your commercial server can't be using a DSA key because they must be 1024 bits.
