Ok... then in that case, I think that yum just updated or kept the latest version.
Do you know how to make the app manager run?

Screenlets is similar to gdesklets i.e they are both dead/obsolete projects.

Screenlets has been replaced by universal applets , I wont be building universal applets for the repo as I don't like the new changes.

ok. good to know that screenlets is a dead project. I'm not particularly attached to it. Do you recommend universal applets ? all I want to do, is to have cool looking applet and stuff on my desktop. And how do I get what you recommend?

By the way really nice work for your compiz fusion post 173317. I loved it.

No it's rubbish , personally I would still use screenlets as it is more stable.

Remove all the compiz packages ( you have mixed versions i.e 0.7.8 & 0.7.9 )

Code:
su
yum erase *compiz*
then reinstall them

ok screenlets and compiz fusion work now:
I noticed that the screenlet called " Sensor" only displays 1 of my dual core CPU. It does not display ram or anything else. Maybe the window does not resize
Any word on this?
I've have to restart X (ctl+Alt+backspace) a few times after selecting different effects in Compiz settings manager. but it works now.
