Tv tuner PCM Problem

I have my Pinnacle PCTV HR Pro Stick (usb) tv tuner showing video (play tv) in mplayer, tvtime, xawtv and xdtv.
I have tried everyway under the sun to get some sound, nothing seems to work.
I Have tried the tvtime + sox thing, various combinations of mplayer like:
mplayer -vf crop=640:468 tv://51 -tv driver=v4l2:alsa:immediatemode=0:adevice=hw.1,0:no rm=atsc:chanlist=us-bcast -tv channels=5-5,13-13,17-17,45-45,51-51
that I have googled.
I found this link http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.drivers.em28xx/624 that says:
"you have to fix your system, audio is delivered within the videostream
to the computer. Kaffeine parses that stream and one part of it gets shown by kaffeine,
the other one should be dumped into your soundcards PCM interface.
So if you see video you have the audio source available as well."
I believe that this may be my problem. If anyone can help me out I sure would appreciate it,
because I'm ready to take a hammer to that thing. Let me know what info you need to know.
FC9 with all updates.

Solved fixed

This does the trick:
Code:
tvtime &
sox -r 32000 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp2 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp
If you get a permission denied error running sox, do this:
Code:
su -c 'sox -r 32000 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp2 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp'
The audio and video we're a little out of sync, but I'm not complaining.
Anybody know how to make it permanent, so I don't have to do 2 commands
to watch tv?
