Unhappy Tiling Rejected by Kernel.

Hi, all

How can I enable tiling with my intel 945 card under FC 10?

I found some errors in my /var/log/Xorg.0.log:

Quote:
(EE) intel(0): Failed to set tiling on front buffer: rejected by kernel
(EE) intel(0): Failed to set tiling on back buffer: rejected by kernel
(EE) intel(0): Failed to set tiling on depth buffer: rejected by kernel
Also, compared with Ubuntu 8.10, I found that tiling may improve graphic performance. and there is no such problem under ubuntu 8.10.

I've tried upgrade my xf86 intel driver from original 2.5.0 to 2.5.1, but it does not help. I reviewed ubuntu's patches about this driver, but fruitless.

I wonder are there some settings which can make kernel accept tiling?

Thanks.
