Fresh Install Partition Advise

Hello.

I plan on doing a fresh F10 install and would like some partitioning advise from advanced Fedora/Linux users.

What would be an 'optimal' partitioning scheme for a 300GB drive? The machine is a dual-core athlon with 2gb of ram and would mainly be used for storing media files and some developing tools like Netbeans, java etc. Any advise would be great. thanks in advance.
