Where's my newly installed program??

This isn't the first time this has happened nor with the same program. But I just installed mplayer using yum and it says it was installed, however I have no idea where it is. It is not listed in the application menu nor does anything happen when I type "mplayer" in the run command. Any ideas?

try typing "gmplayer" at command line

Nope, I get an error saying it doesn't exsist;

When I type "mplayer" no error messege comes up, but nothing happens at all.

locate mplayer

Usually /usr/bin/mplayer

try
$ rpm -ql mplayer | grep bin
