Glibc Double Free or Corruption Error

Lately I've been getting the following error after I exit a particular game:

Quote:

I'm on Fedora 9 and the game is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'd like to know if it's possible for a hacker to gain access to one's computer through an application?

Thank You.
