install hplip prob

when trying to install hplip-2.8.10.run i get dependency error regarding 'libusb' as being needed. but i have it installed ALREADY. checked threee times. any ideas on what i am doing wrong? using 'yum' to do install;

Just tell me if I'm stating the obvious...

hplip-2.8.7-3.fc10 is available in the Fedora repos:

su
yum install hplip

It works nicely with my printer, but perhaps you are trying to install something newer? In that case, I don't really know what to suggest.

You may want to install hplip_gui as well.

su
yum install hplip_gui
hp-setup
