could no detect stabilization waiting 10 seconds

I am running fedora 10 i386 on a machine with a AS Rock 4 Core Dual Sata2 mobo an Intel E2180 dual processor 2 Gigs of memory 2 Sata drives with multiple partitions.I am multi booting fedora 8, 9, and 10. Only fedora 10 has this problem.
If I hit the Esc key after the Plymouth screen starts the boot details are shown. the first message is:

"could no detect stabilization waiting 10 seconds"

The computer then waits 10 seconds and then the boot process continues and proceeds as normal. It boots quite fast after this delay. I have googled for a solution to this problem and see that there are other versions of Linux that also have this delay but I could not find a fix.
Could anyone tell my how to fix this?

Thanks Terry

there is a bug report about it here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=470628

There's been a bit of discussion about this on the fedora-test-list.

I didn't keep up with it but I saw there was a work around and the bug report shows ON_QA for status.

The new nash & mkinitrd updates do fix the problem , they didn't work for you as you didn't update the initrd image .

Code:
su
mkinitrd -v -f /boot/initrd-`uname -r`.img `uname -r`

Same result after rebooting :
Could not detect stabilization ,waiting 10 seconds.
Try updating as you don't have the fixed packages installed
Code:
su
yum --enablerepo=u*g update nash mkinitrd
mkinitrd -v -f /boot/initrd-`uname -r`.img `uname -r`

Thank a lot.It worked.
This time no message like this: "No stabilization detected waiting 10 seconds".

But is it possible in Fedora 10 to boot with graphical mode showing the booting messages as well like Fedora 8?

Hit Esc during boot .

I have also ran
Code:
mkinitrd -v -f /boot/initrd-`uname -r`.img `uname -r`
and cannot boot into X any more. I get only garbled screen and everything freezes as with new kernel, actually it seems that initrd has something to do with it.

Code:
lsmod | grep ati
or
Code:
lsmod | grep radeon
doesn't give anything. Ati module is not loaded. I have tried to reinstall xorg ati driver but id doesn't helps.

Try

Code:
su
 mkinitrd -v -f /boot/initrd-`uname -r`.img `uname -r` --preload radeon

Or boot the older kernel .

Yes I know it was stupid not to make a backup . And regarding kernel I have already used old kernel because I as mentioned above I can not boot into new one because of the same issue.

I' try now with '--preload radeon'. I should have mentioned 'modprobe ati' or 'modprobe radeon' can not find the module.
