Hi,
I did not know where to post this, so i am doing it here.
I am testing the new fedora 10 using live cd on a laptop hp pavilion dv2000(this is a dual core), it works great, the problem is that when i was monitoring the processes something weird happened, i did the next:
1.- Open gnome-terminal.
2.- Run su to get root access.
3.- Run command top to see al the processes.
4.- I closed the terminal window when top was still running.
After this i saw that my computer got hot.
I did this:
1.- I ran system monitor and, i saw that one of the processors were at 100%
The process that was using the processor was top, so i killed it but, the question here is that why top was not killed when i closed the terminal window?
