It has been intermittent, but the DVD drive of this laptop sometimes becomes unresponsive and I need to reboot, under fedora 10. The last was while writing an ISO using Gnome's image writer (right click over the file and choose write).. It eventually gives an "unspecified error" and eject button, and the eject command do not work. You cannot get the disk out.
