HP8510w Nvidia Quadro FX570M driver.

Hello,
New to this and trying to get a pointer on how to fix the display driver issue i have. Video is bit slow in refresh, jerky when scrolling etc. I notice that the desktop effects enable don't work, I get white screen. I have Nvidia Quadro FX570M video card and i cant find a way on how load it where to find it.

Install the proper nvidia driver ( see sig for guide ) , nv doesn't work with compiz .

Thank you so much for you help, i dont want to sound ignorant just new to linux. I looked in your guide F10 Nvidia but the quadro fx is under not supported. I dont know whan i need to look for as for "nv doesn't work with compiz"

That workd just fine, i see the nvidia splash screen before logon etc.. Thank you very much. Would you be able to help me with the Enabel Desktop Effects?? when click on the enable...i see an explanation mark "desktop effort could not be enabled" and ideas?

You may need to edit xorg.conf for compiz to work.
