[F10]The Mouse is too sensitive

Since I installed the Fedora 10 in my Dell Inspiron 640m, Everything is perfect except the Mouse, It's too sensitive, it's very glad to regard the Click as the Double Click. Is there anyone met and solved this problems?

(I installed the both kde and gnome)

GNOME: System --> Preferences --> Hardware --> Mouse

You can also set it with the xset command.

Sorry ,but it seems that it has nothing to do with the configuration.

Not because of the "Single-Click to Open files and folds" or any other settings such as acceleration and threshold. It is hard to make it clear.

I give some examples.

1. If there are some maximized windows, so their Close Button are superposition.When I close the top one by single-clicking, then the one below it closed either. Just like I single-clicked twice.
2. When I open the menu by single-clicking, the menu dose nothing just like I do not click it. But the fact is that two events are sent to the system, the first one opens the menu and the second one closes it.

Is there anyone met the issus?

some one says maybe there are two drivers connect to the mouse at the same time.
but my right-click and movement are have no trouble.

So it's not too fast or too slow, it's that your left or center button is getting pressed twice when you only pressed it once? Are you sure it's not the mouse itself (i.e. the left or center button is getting stuck)? I've seen that happen over the years.

Those examples was made to show "Single click sends two click events to system".
This happens in kde, gnome, kdm/gdm login screen and even the system installed in vmware with full screen mode.
