Nvidia GFX with unexpected results.

Hello,

This isnt hardware related as far as I can see, so bear with me.

A fresh install of Fedora 10 and the akmod-nvidia drivers from rpm-fusion all works fine, as far as I can see.

Now when I go to edit my display settings, via nvidia-settings (as root) I have my first problem.

I am running an 8800GTX and an 8600(summit or other). They both use the same Nvidia driver. Both cards are running two monitors, theoretically giving me 4 monitors to work with. But when I go to edit my nvidia settings I am unable to enable the second two monitors. Should this be possible?

Also, using just my main two monitors plugged into my 8800GTX when I enable KDE 4.1s visual effects the displays both go completely black with windows appearing as just the shadowing effects. No window contents or anything. Just some lighter grey areas where the windows should be.

How could I go about fixing this. I am more than willing to poke this Fedora install about but I really want to get Fedora working on my main PC at home. TBH this comuter is doing my nut in as no version of linux has yet wokred on the thing. I'm admittant this is my fault and believe it could have alot to do with my understanding (or lack of) of the xorg.conf.

Any help would be appreciated. Having the 3 and 4 monitor active is not imperatve to me but I use the graphical effects alot (such as display zoom) and TBH having a few hundred pounds worth of GFX card sat doing nothing just bugs me.
