That is correct,
upgrade from Fedora 8 to Fedora 10.
I'll keep this system running for some time and see if indeed it was worth it or should I perform a full clean-install, thus far, though it is running like a champ (one of my best Fedora installs in quite a while, my own personal mess ups notwithstanding)...
My only gripe thus far is that by the time I managed to get a "yum update"
clean (i.e without weird dependency errors), there were the amazing amount of
2.0 Gb worth of updates waiting for me... WHAT THE HECK?!?! Was my first reaction, but then I saw my Applications menu and under "Games" I've got some heavy lifters there (OpenArena, Nexuiz, Tremolus, Wesnoth, Glest, Warzone, TORCS [complete], etc)... So in the end I think that the total weight of the updates was actually around the 800-900Mb mark rather than 2Gb, but still... Ouch! I'll be the first to admit that I have too much junk installed on the system, and that not all of it was able to be upgraded with the DVD image, but still... A rather HUGE update.
