No repositories

Hi,
I posted this question in the section 'Installation', but did not get any reply. So i think that this is the correct section.

I have just installed Fedora 10 from a dvd. My system is a P4. Right now i have no net connection. So i need the repositories from the dvd itself. But if i use the add/remove software option, not a single package is shown. I keep getting an error:

No package cache is available.
The package list needs to be rebuilt.
This should have been done by the backend automatically.
Cannot retrieve repository metadata (respond.xml) for repository: fedora. Please verify its path and try again.

I do not see an option to add a dvd repository either.

Please advice.
