X not starting after upgrade

I recently upgraded my X environment to xorg-x11??.6.7.0-5. The upgrade went without a hitch with
the exception that when I rebooted, the Xserver never started. It worked fine before the upgrade and
if I log in and enter 'startx' it works fine. I checked log files, config files and everything I could thing of
but can not see anything abnormal. The upgrade did fix several annoying issues so I'm hesitant to go
back. Any Ideas???

Thanks.

/etc/inittab and line "id:5:initdefault:" should have id:5 not id:3
