Intel 82865G doesn't work on f9

Hi,
after I upgraded my fedora8 to fedora9 something happened and I can not use GUI anymore, only text mode. Fedora8 worked just fine. When I come to logon screen in text mode iy obviosly tries to get into GUI (it blinks for 10 times) but nothing happens after that, only text mode is available.
Windows works fine (dual boot).
I believe something is wrong with the driver (maybe not). How can I check if driver is installed and working? How can I install it?

glxgears gives error:
Error: couldn't open display (null)

I am very new to the world of Linux! I have just installed Redhat 8 and it appears to run OK. The only problem is that it has not identified my Intel 86865G onboard graphics card. I have downloaded the driver from the Intel site (http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...=1044&lang=eng)

After downloading the driver, I extracted the files. I then opened a terminal window and navigated to the 'dripkg' folder and typed 'source install.sh'. I followed the instructions on the Driver Installation Script by pressing 'Enter' etc when required. After this had finished it asked me to restart ...
