$ rpm -qf /usr/lib64/libgnutls.so.13
gnutls-2.0.4-4.fc9.x86_64

So try:

yum install gnutls

Even updating the system fails because of vlc-core-0.9.6-1.fc9.i386 dependencies not found

Sounds like a repo conflict. What repos do you have enabled?

RPMFusion is the new Livna, there is no need for both. Also, if you're not a developer/tester you should not have rawhide enabled unless you like to screw up your Fedora installation. Rawhide is the development branch of what will eventually become Fedora 11. It looks like you need to reinstall...

Never, ever enable any development, testing or rawhide repos unless you know how to fix the mess you will get yourself into!
