Question Where to find the bookmarks\favorites folder

Hey guys im planning to reformat but b4 that i want to backup some of my files including my bookmarks\favorites but where can i find that folder in my linux box????is it dependent on what browser youre using????Im using konquerer, so what do you think guys????I hop you can help me out here....Awaiting your answers.........

it's generally best to just backup your whole home directory... you'll get all your settings of all programs this way

in mozilla and firefox I will export my bookmarks to a file (bookmarks.html)
In the browser click file, then import/export...

you can first export to the IE bookmarks.
after 4mat you can import IE bookmarks.

how?

bookmarks/ edit bookmarks .

now come a new window "bookmark editor".

then in this editor--> file / import ( export)
