SOLVED : Fedora 10 : no graphical boot with thinkpad SL300

Hello all,

I've installed Fedora 10 with no problems on my thinkpad sl300.
Everything works except... there is no graphical boot. All i get is
a black screen with a blue progress bar in the bottom.

Anyone can guide me into this?

Thanks!

Hello Axel and thanks for your help...

I Tried both solutions in the guide you posted... no success..

Thinkpad SL300 has an Intel-integrated card... not supported yet? Or is there other things to try...

What worked for me :

Quote:
su -
gedit /boot/grub/grub.conf
Then add vga=0x315 in this file, like this
Quote:
title Fedora (2.6.27.5-117.fc10.i686)
root (hd0,9)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.27.5-117.fc10.i686 ro root=UUID=a61c8338-e373-4389-ae00-32942185f7c2 rhgb quiet
vga=0x315
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.27.5-117.fc10.i686.img
By the way, my Thinkpad SL300 has an intel 4500m integrated video chipset
