Banned from Freenode.
I don't suppose there is anybody here with connections on Freenode is there? It looks like a whole netblock might have been banned and this includes me. I emailed kline@freenode a couple of weeks ago and got no reply (other than the automated ticket number thing), then I emailed support@ yesterday and got a reply late on but I'm still banned
The support chap says it's due to abuse from someone with my ISP, and that he's aware it's causing problems and will come back to me, so I guess a whole ip range has been blocked. I could really do with getting on though

Well, yeah, sorta...but it's more about IP spamming, etc. So, go here: http://www.spamhaus.org/lookup.lasso and plug in your IP addy and see what pops up.

can you not just use a proxy for the time being, in xchat you add the proxy in Network Setup (under Preferences), google for a list of proxy servers near you.
