help on 64 bit adobe flash player

I'm using the 64 bit version of F9 right now, and I've tried installing the 64 bit flash player 10 alpha on firefox but its not working. On the instructions it says to remove any previous versions of flash player, and installing is as simple as copying the file into the firefox plugins folder. Now the 64 bit firefox that comes packaged with the OS has a flash 9 plugin "shockwave flash 9.0 r100", but I don't know how to get rid of it.
I've tried everything, from using the package manager to try to find and remove it, and manually looking under the plugins folder of firefox, but somehow its not in there.
So how do I permanently get rid of that? Not only is it preventing the flash 10 alpha from working, but I can't view any flash movies at all.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have nspluginwrapper installed? If so, remove that package using yum.

Also: Leigh has good instructions here:
