It's a deltarpm packaging issue or my inexperience. I ended up using rpm to install the packages with the --force switch.
The updated packages that fix the issue (there in pre-updates-testing) are available here.

Re: F14, F13 & F12 Nvidia driver guides
Somewhere in Bugzilla I found the fixed xorg-*-nvidia which fixed the 'xstrtokenize' bug. Not sure if you've take a look at it, it works but performance is still bad. I hope this issue will be fixed on the next release.

Use ONLY the akmod package instead.
yum instal <packagename> --skip-broken causes issues for me.

yum install akmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i686
nvidia-xconfig

I tried around with akmod and other combinations, but then I completely bricked the system, so I had to reinstall, and I am now at this point again. What to do?
EDIT: It is fedora 14, 64-bit.

There's a bug which stops livna display config to stop working.
That error seems to be non-fatal.

I know, I applied a fix from step 3. But driver still doesn't work, I tried to start ExteremeTuxRacer and I even main menu screen is sluggish, I can't even start a race.
Graphics card is 8800GT
