Question Poor network performance

I tried copying files to and from my other system running XP and I get about 3 to 4MB/sec via samba.

However, if I boot into Windows then I get 30+ MB/sec. Please help me troubleshoot this. I have no idea why I get really horrible speed in Fedora. I often need to copy a lot of large files across the network and this takes forever in Fedora.
