kernel 2.6.27.5-37 x86_64 and NVIDIA 177.73 CUDA Drivers - Xen?

When I try to install Nvidia CUDA drivers from the Nvidia site, it tells me that the existing kernel (2.6.27.5-37) appears to be a xen kernel. Is this kernel really a xen kernel, or should I try to build the Nvidia driver in another fashion?
I am using Fedora 9 x86_64 with all the latest updates.
