Should i install fedora 10 (stable)?

Hi,
I plan to install fedora 10, after it is officially released. But i need to know:
1) Can i make a separate partition for / and my /home so that when i upgrade i need to only format the /. I mean is it an option during the installation process?
2) Does it come with gcc and gfortran (4.3+), and not gcc and g77?
3) Does it have read/write permissions for ntfs partitions?

Google is your friend.

1 - yes. That's a pretty common way of doing things in the *nix world and if you choose 'custom layout' in the partitioning screen of any Fedora installer - you can set things up the way you want to. VERY flexible and often suggested even.

2 - I don't know - you'll have to check the features list. What's included in F-10 is publicly posted, in detail, on the fedoraproject.org web site. Maybe a quick read through the 'release notes' - as is often suggested for such questions - will yield you the answer you want: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/releas...preview/en_US/

3 - Yes - Fedora has had r/w NTFS support for a couple of releases now.
