Question Touchpad cannot be disabled in Fedora 10

My laptop is VAIO SZ56 and it has a normal touchpad. I want to disable the tap click function or disable the whole touchpad but the system shows:

GSynaptics couldn't initialize.
You have to set 'SHMConfig' 'true' in xorg.conf or XF86Config to use GSynaptics

However, in Fedora 10 there is no xorg, conf.
What should I do?

Thanks!

Generate a xorg.conf either run system-config-display

or

Code:
su -
Xorg -configure :1
Then edit it
