Preupgrade to Core 10

I want to switch over to core 10. Alot of naysayers have talked about all kinds of hassles with preupgrading but I upgraded from core 7 to core 8 to core 9. All you have to do is a bit of wrangling with the dependency system to reel it in. Removing VLC entirely before upgrading and disabling video stuff and then it's just a matter of upgrading everything in stages instead of trying to let the dependency system try for everything at once.
Ok what I want to know is why there's not a Core 10 Preview Option for prepgrade yet. Only thing showing is still rawhide. Is Rawhide spin at the core 10 preview state right now and will it upgrade all the way to release?

Open appliations-> System Tools -> Terminal
SU and password to get root access
preupgrade
Upgrade system
choose desired release

If you check choose unstable test releases. No alpha or beta releases show up just rawhide. I just don't know if rawhide is the preview release of core 10 right now.

I get two choices.

please give a release to try to pre-upgrade to
valid entries include:
"Fedora 10 (Cambridge) Beta"
"Rawhide"

I currently have a perfectly working F9 system. How safe is it to upgrade.
What problems it can cause?

I already am using a rawhide kernel mesa and xorg packages.

Dangit I don't get the fedora 10 beta. If you know how to finagle the updating system to keep it from stepping all over it's own toes it's easy to upgrade. Everyones saying 10 preview is very stable. I just wonder why it won't give me the preupgrade option.

On desktop I'm using F10 for cca one month and it's really stable for me. F10 seems to be much more better release than F9 ;-)

On notebook I'm afraid of 2.6.27.x kernel, because with 2.6.26.x I had problems with WPA on Intel 4965, so I'm still using 2.6.25.14 kernel and F9 there. I'll try kernel from rawhide and will see after few moments ...

In preupgrade util (on notebook - F9) I have only Rawhide option (no Beta, no Preview)? Why?

Kernel 2.6.27.4 is great and intel 4965 wifi card is working well (good bye crappy 2.6.26) - so tomorrow I'll upgrade the resting computer on F10 ;-)

I had an old preupgrade util. I tried to update it from rawhide and now there is more options :-)
