S-Video output question

Was wondering before I try to install Fedora9 if it is compatable with my laptop that is a COMPAQ C551NR model that has a S-Video output port so as to use it for my hobby Amateur Radio in Amateur Television since I often connect the laptop as it is now (Windows VISTA) via the S-Video port to my transmitter, so as to transmit weather radar images, and other amateur radio related stuff out to my fellow amateur radio viewers.

It's hard to say for sure, but you could always try a Live CD (Live Media) and see if it works before committing to installing it.

only way to findout an thats to try an install it..we cant tell you if it is or not
