Problem with installing Fedora 9 with IMAC

hi,
I have an IMAC with OS X "i think its name is leopord"and i wanted to install fedora9 as a second OS.
I found some steps on the internet and i followed it . In summary what i did is :
first i partitioned my hard drive into two partitions the second partition i installed the Mas OS on it the first one i kept it as a free space when i did the partitions.

Then i inserted the Fedora DVD and followed the installation steps .. in the step where they ask for the partition type. i chose to install in the free space with the default layout.
Then the rest of the steps went ok. and i kept the default choices on them.

Now after i finished. i restarted the Machine it was supposed to present a list with the two OS for me to chose one.
But what happen is that it automatically boot to the Mac OS..
i know that the fedora is on the disk.. but i cant access it ... any suggestions on how to fix this will be appreciated

Boot OSX and install "rEFIt" - then reboot and you'll be presented with a choice of booting OS X or Linux.

Thanks that helped... now i have another problem..
when i boot the fedora i got asked to enter LUKS passphrase for dev/sda4/
i believe this is for the encryption password.. when i type it and press enter.. it ask for it again as if it it wrong.. they ask for it 3 times and then the system hang.. i have to shut down the computer and restart it..
I even tried the root password and it is still not working..
Is there any way to skip this password check ?? and why it is not working with the password i enter ?
